Course Syllabus

  1. TITLE OF COURSE: BA2401 - Business Career Exploration
  2. COURSE DESCRIPTION: One hour/Independent Study (Job Shadowing). Permission from instructor is required before enrollment. This course is designed to give the student on-the-job experience in an instructor selected training station under the supervision of an employer and the coordinating instructor. The employer will file an evaluation report and keep a record of the time spent on the observation. The student must observe a total of 12.5 hours to receive the one hour of credit. The student may have only one class of observation to count toward graduation. For each unit of credit, a minimum of three hours per week with one of the hours for class and two hours for studying/preparation outside of class is expected.
  3. TEXTBOOK AND MATERIALS: No textbook is required for this course.

  5. COURSE OUTCOMES: The student should be able to gain first hand knowledge about career fields they are interested in pursuing
